Below please find a link to the newly published Preparing for TAFE: A Guide for Students with a Disability in Victoria.

This guide is designed to be a comprehensive resource for students with a disability, learning difficulty or chronic medical condition who are considering TAFE as a training option. It will also provide extensive information for Careers Teachers and Parents.

The handbook covers topics such as disclosure, forms of support, reasonable adjustments, financial support and legislation in addition to including a step by step guide on preparing for TAFE.

This resource is the first in a series of three booklets.  Two further booklets will be developed for students with a disability which explore options at University and options in employment.
